I had a decent stay at this hotel which carries a unique Bali-inspired theme amidst the scenic Matsushima area. The staff was genuinely friendly and the complimentary snacks and drinks were a nice touch. However, the room I stayed in had a stale smoke smell that detracted from my experience. The breakfast was satisfying, but the overall facilities felt a bit dated.
The hotel offers a unique Bali-inspired vibe in a beautiful forest setting, with some nice amenities like a lounge with free drinks. While my room was dark and had a persistent smoke smell, my family’s room was quite pleasant. The breakfast was good and the value for money is commendable, although some facilities feel a bit outdated.
I had a decent experience at this resort spa. While the location was quite charming and the overall atmosphere felt inviting, the rooms could use a bit of improvement, especially regarding cleanliness and comfort. The dining options were good, especially with complimentary drinks during happy hour. However, I found the hard beds and the musty smell in my room to be a downside. On a positive note, the friendly staff and recreational facilities were definitely highlights of my stay.
The hotel offers a quirky, Bali-inspired experience in Matsushima with some unique amenities and decent value for the price. While the rooms can vary in cleanliness and comfort, the all-day snacks and free drinks were delightful touches. The atmosphere can feel dated and there are some cons, but overall, it's a good place if you don't expect luxury.
The hotel is a lovely retreat nestled in a forested hillside, offering a great base for exploring Matsushima. I was particularly impressed with the friendly and helpful staff, who made my stay feel warm and inviting. Additionally, the complimentary happy hour and snacks were delightful. However, the room I stayed in had a bit of a view issue and wasn’t particularly spacious, which detracted from the overall experience.
